The Raider Band Boosters provide support in many ways. While most visible during football season, the booster parents are working behind the scenes all year.

The main functions of the booster club are to provide physical support and financial support. They supply physical support by chaperoning and staffing our events and trips. Boosters measure the kids for uniforms pass out water and drink at games, load and unload equipment and carry it on and off the field. They do countless other jobs that the band staff or the band students could not do and still perform their own duties. They provide financial support through fundraising. Main activities include Fruit Baskets, Potato Supper and the new Golf Tournament. It takes approximately 3 times our annual school supply budget to get the band through a year. That money comes from the boosters.

The boosters also provide a great way for people whose kids have acommon interest to get to know each other and share their own commonality. The boosters laugh alot and enjoy the presence of each other and their kids.

If you are a band parent, you are a band booster. There is no membership fee. Just your committment to your kids and their band program.
